Happy New Year! Welcome to 2017 which, despite being the Chinese year of the Rooster, for us is going to be the year of the Honey Bee. Having talked about it for a while, we are finally going to jump into the world of beekeeping.
For Christmas, Julie bought us both membership of our local association (Peeblesshire Beekeepers Association) and places on their beginners' course to be held in the spring.
