Having harvested some honey yesterday, today we started feeding heavy syrup (2 sugar:1 water). We intend to give the bees as much as they will take over the next 10 days or so. The weather is still reasonably mild and hopefully this will leave the bees with plenty of time to store and ripen the syrup before the cold weather arrives.
