On my way out for a walk this afternoon at about 3pm, I went past the
apiary to check everything looked okay. I was surprised to see quite a
few bees flying around, despite the fact that the air temperature was
only about 4℃.
Whilst it is certainly the mildest day we have had for about 10 days,
I didn't expect to see quite so much activity.
I am unsure of the significance of this, but hope it is a good sign the bees are happy. Maybe they can sense that the snow is coming next week and this is their only chance to be out?
