Despite the exceptionally cold and snowy winter, all five hives have survived so far and are beginning to forage when the weather allows. It is a real pleasure to experience the beginnings of our first Highland Spring and discover what previous owners have planted in the garden.
The appearance of these giant snowdrops were unexpected, but much appreciated both by us and the bees.
