We have been waiting anxiously for signs that the virgin queens that emerged after the recent prime swarm and cast swarms had mated and were starting to lay.
Today we noticed a significant increase in the amount of pollen going into the hive and both nucs. Hopefully this is a good sign that the virgin queens have mated successfully and started laying.
